Kenmore gas dryer – rotates, no heat

And why not? True engineer should be able to fix anything. So if you ever faced the problem of your gas dryer seemingly working (rotating) but not producing any heat then 95% the chance is your thermal breaker just went kaput. That thing simply seats on a single wire and looks like a flat piece of plastic with two contacts. Once it goes bad you have to replace it, sorta like a circuit breaker on your Christmas tree. The good news is it’s easy to find and easy to replace and it cost next to nothing. However – do not go to your local Sears, you need to go to the parts and repairs shop (check your local listings)

Also page 6 of this doc was very helpful
