Why Android kicks Apple’s arse?

After using newest iPhone for 2 days I have to tell that I liked my ugly, clunky G1 much better. Why? Simple reason – background processing. Yes it will chew your buttery life like crazy, but it feels like an OS whilst iPhone had this feeling of glorified mobile browser. I miss tight integration with Gmail and GTalk. With Android it’s magically there – the instance you get an email or IM it’s ready for consumption. If someone, somewhere sticks Android inside the comparable device – man, that’ll be the true killer app. Why, but why these EU people should have it before us? And why these big wigs in AT&T just would not listen?
